Este año 2016 se ha producido el ansiado regreso de Aterciopelados, después de 8 años, con su primer proyecto de larga duración en vivo titulado “Reluciente, Rechinante y Aterciopelado” un CD+DVD, que recopila las canciones más emblemáticas de su repertorio y que cuenta con la participación de grandes invitados como Macaco, León Larregui (vocalista de la agrupación Mexicana Zoé), Goyo (Chocquibtown) y Catalina García (Monsieur Periné).

En el marco del 20º aniversario de su emblemático disco "El Dorado" el repertorio de los conciertos promete ser un emotivo repaso por las canciones eternas de la banda.
