DE ▶ Er ist einer der ersten DJ´s, die ich auf internationaler Ebene getroffen habe. Einer, mit dem ich die verrücktesten DJ Sets gespielt habe.
Einer dieser Typen, mit den ich mich fast immer geprügelt habe – und zwar am DJ Pult. Weltweit, von Nicaragua via Australien über Japan und all around the Europe. Einer, der ranzige Parolen wie „Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll“ wie ausgelutschte MTV Werbung aussehen lässt – schließlich geht noch viel mehr als nur das!
Ein DJ Bastard wie kaum ein anderer; unberechenbar, unbeugsam und manchmal einfach nur unverschämt – aber einer von denen, die die Tanzfläche geradewegs zum „TanzOrgasmus“ bringen können.
Ein französischer Calabrese par excellence; meiner Meinung nach der beste westeuropäische Balkan DJ – nach mir natürlich :-)

EN ▶ He is one of the first DJs I met on the international Balkan music scene and one with whom I've had the craziest DJ sets. The kind of guy that always ends up on the brink of a fist fight with me - especially within the closed confines of the DJ boot - wherever we are, from Nicaragua to Australia through to Japan. Anywhere and everywhere. He will take you beyond yourself, and the "Sex, Drugs & Rock'n'Roll" spirit will then sound to you like a dull MTV moto. Because there is much more in life than that.
A bastardo DJ from an almost extent species, unpredictable, unbending, and sometimes simply shameless - but one of the few DJs who can bring the dance-floor to a dance-orgasm. A Calabrese par excellence - in my opinion one of the best European Balkan DJs - after me of course :-)

Das Phänomen BalkanBeats gebiert immer spektakulärere Kombinationen: Bläser treiben es mit Electro - Swing, Dudelsack pumpt mit Rock, Klezmer groovt mit Elektro - Beats, Goran Bregović tanzt mit Carmen und einige der schönsten Balkan-Songs kommen plötzlich aus Frankreich oder Deutschland...
"Keep the room going" ist das BalkanBeats Motto Nummer eins und wer schon einmal dabei war, weiss, dass hier die Nacht zum Tag, und Kreuzberg zum Balkan gemacht wird!
