Vom Schulabschluß ganz zu schweigen.Mit damals in Bosnien für umgerechnet 100,- DM “gekauften” Führerschein, arbeitete er jahrelang als Taxifahrer auf Berliner Straßen.Der „Taksista“ wechselte allmählich zum DJ Pult und wurde unter dem konspirativen Namen „ BalkanBeats Godfather“ weltweit bekannt.An diesem Samstag zieht er seine - extra für diesen DJ SET gepflegten - Klamotten an und spielt die besten BalkanBeats Tracks aller Zeiten.

▶︎ ROBERT SOKO – A Bosnian factory worker, with no visa or regular income - not to mention any kind of education or manners.Before leaving his homeland, he snapped a driving licence on the black market for a handful of Deutsche Marks. Once in Berlin, he unleashed his fury as an on-speed taxi driver.At some point, Soko parked his taxi and entered a DJ booth and somehow became known around the globe as the "BalkanBeats Godfather".He will get into his fanciest clothes for you this coming Saturday, and throw his grooviest tracks around, for a memorable party.
