The Death Valley Girls arrive with their 'California Doom Boogie', a psychedelic proto-punk of the most hypnotic kind. At the controls of the garage band from Los Angeles, Bonnie Bloomgarden enchants us with her mystical voice, enveloped in fuzzy notes. The Californian girls, darling of Iggy Pop himself (we see him eating hamburgers in their video "Disaster"!) constantly reinvent themselves. Now with a 100% feminine line up Bonnie finally found the band that suits her, she now gives more space to melodies and synths, without abandoning the garage rock making their signature. Their latest albums 'Under The Spell of Joy' and 'Island in the sky' prove it well: we find influences from the 60s on one and more groovy colors on the other. The Death Valley Girls are not ready to stop there, since they are preparing a new album with new line up. For us right now. For the month of April 2026. One thing is certain, we can’t wait!
